Established in 2019, the Vision and Mission of the Community Counselling Centre of London is to provide affordable and professional psychospiritual therapy sessions to vulnerable members of our community ages 12 and up in the core and greater London area. 

 

According to the Canadian Counselling and Psychotherapy Association, "One in five Canadians experience a mental health issue or illness. 4,000 Canadians die every year as a result of suicide. In Canada, counselling is the most prevalent, but least likely fulfilled mental health care need." 

The need for our services in the City of London is apparent and escalating. We are part of the solution by providing subsidized psychospiritual therapy sessions to clients through a unique model that also provides quality training and clinical placement hours to graduate level therapist interns under direct supervision. We are an accredited teaching centre with the Canadian Association for Spiritual Care/Association canadienne de soins spirituels (CASC/ACSS) and our Supervisor-Educators are certified. 

While each client at our Centre is assessed based on gross household income and number of dependents to determine the session fee, many clients, especially those who are unhoused or on ODSP and OW, receive fully subsidized counselling sessions. It is our hope to continue to provide affordable counselling to vulnerable citizens of London. We can do this with your donations and sponsorship.
